So, 416, how does it feel? Being played that is?  Don't get me wrong, Toronto needed the Billion for transit, but as a radio caller from the city of Vaughan admitted, "this is great ... it'll clear traffic on the roads so I can still drive to Toronto, but get there faster."

Any chance that's why PM Harper did it? The Billion that is ... so the roads would clear and he could get here faster. 'So long 514, I yearn for the 416 ... at least the polls tell me I do.'

Poor John Tory, not even the guy's last name is signal enough his federal boss is making the wrong guy look good. 'I'm a T-O-R-Y for goodness sake' is what I imagine says the Conservative provincial premier wanna-be; 'couldn't ya wait 6 months before showering the provincial engine with much needed fuel?'  

John, dude, pay attention. There isn't safe sheep in the country so long as only that, or anything else that needs doing, stands in the way of a  m-a-j-o-r-i-t-y.
